Social Investing for Children Canada (SICC) is a movement of changemakers dedicated to education equity. We mobilize communities to take collective action through student and family-led fundraising, directly supporting the SICC RESP Match Fund. Together, we’re removing financial barriers and unlocking future opportunities for children across Canada.
To empower children and their families with the knowledge, tools, and early investments that support educational success and long-term well-being.
Igniting Change: Our Pilot Initiatives
Our vision for collective impact begins with two key pilot projects: the SICC Social Spark Challenge and the SICC RESP Match Fund. While these initiatives are currently in their pilot phase, we envision them becoming our annual flagship programs—driving community innovation and providing the direct financial support every child in Canada needs to reach their full educational potential.
A student-led 100-day challenge that empowers young changemakers to create social impact while raising education savings for low-income families.
A RESP contribution matching grant designed to reduce barriers to education savings and support low-income families in investing in their children’s future
